Lunchbox Frame

Description

This is the bike you’ve been dreaming about. The Lenz Sport Lunchbox is newly updated for epic trail riding. With 160mm of rear travel and 170mm or 180mm front travel, the Lunchbox is meant to shred the gnarliest trails out there. We’ve updated this classic Lenz Bike with larger tire clearance and a new progressive spring curve with a longer shock for increased top end plushness and incredible bottom end stability and control. Landing drops and ledges has never felt so good. The Lunchbox is designed with our classic super short chain stay for a nimble and playful bike that climbs and descends confidently. Manualling over obstacles and getting the front wheel up for landing steep drops takes less effort on this bike than any other bike on the market. We have slacked out the head tube angle and steepened the seat tube angle to make this bike shred the toughest lines on downhills while being equally awesome at climbing steep technical terrain. The stability of this Lenz Bike will impress any rider on fast rocky trails with drops, jumps, corners, and other rad trail features. With our new Trail Shred geometry you will love the handling, climbing, cornering, and descending characteristics and you can say goodbye to annoying pedal strikes. With our updated progressive spring curve rear suspension you get a super supple suspension that eats up the small bumps and has the deep end support you want to land drops with ultimate control and stability. In a nutshell, the Lunchbox will make you faster with more confidence and a better technical rider than you ever thought you could be. The Lunchbox can be built with either 27.5 inch or 29 inch tires and works great with tires from 2.5″ to 3.0″ wide. The super short chainstay is designed for maneuverability and to be specific to 1x component groups. The Lunchbox frame is 100% handmade in Colorado.

At this point it’s safe to say that moving from an XL long-travel 27.5 enduro to the 29+ XXL lunchbox was a no-brainer. Although there was an initial adjustment period, the more I ride this bike the more I fall in love with it.. steep, loose & technical terrain has never been more fun and accessible for me at 6’3″ 210 lbs. Everyone of my friends who has jumped on this bike has also been blown away. I look for any excuse I can find to ride my lunchbox these days. 5 stars without question!!!

We offer customized build kits for all Lenz Sport mountain bikes. We can build bikes with Sram, Shimano, or TRP drivetrain. We also offer Magura, Shimano, Sram, Hayes, TRP, and Hope Brakes. We typically build the wheels from scratch using Hope, Onyx, or DT swiss hubs and we can get other hubs if desired. Rims are dependent on desired tire size and we offer Sun Ringle, Stans, DT swiss, Derby Carbon and more. For cockpit components, we love Oneup and Fox dropper seatposts, Protaper and SQlab handlebars, and SQlab grips and saddles. For suspension we love DVO, Fox, and Rockshox and have other available options as well. We understand that each rider has their own component preferences so please let us know yours and we will fill in the gaps with our own recommendations.

Our frame size is now the Reach measurement. We no longer use size labels since they are irrelevant. *Focus on rider height, reach, RAD, and Standover (SO) when choosing size. RAD = Height in mm times .447. Click here for more information on Ridelogic frame sizing and to submit measurements, or come into our shop for a fit. Once you nail down Reach and Standover, choose your bike based on how much travel you want.
